What can you do . Manitoba hydro advises first of all to be on the lookout for ice buildup and if so report it by phone or email. Stay clear of low or sagging power lines , do not travel under or near one, as it can be most dangerous. Lastly never attempt to repair damaged power lines or remove tree limbs from power lines – no matter how experienced you think that you are – advises Transcona. .
